Based on traditional Italian fish stews in the 1800s, Crab Cioppino actually has its roots in San Francisco — making it a prominent Bay Area dish we serve with great pride here at Princeton Seafood Co.
In our restaurant, the star crustaceans hail from the Half Moon Bay waters, which makes them very fresh. In fact the critters are literally hand-tucked from the dock to out kitchen. The tender crab meat—still in its shell—is bathed in a sauce made in house from tomatoes, garlic & red wine and partnered with mussels or clams and white fish to keep it company. Yummy!
A full order of this delicacy goes for $24.99 and a half order is $14.99 Want to try making the dish for yourself at home? Local Chef Amy Fothergill offers a simple recipe you can try send here. The seafood ingredients can be purchased in our fish market.
Hope to see you around soon!
